Locks and locking devices
Locks and locking devices are blocking devices that are among the basic elements of an access control and management system. These include electric strikes, electromechanical locks, electromagnetic locks.
An electric latch is the counterpart of the lock, which, when a command is received, releases the oblique bolt of the lock (latch), allowing you to open the door without turning the key. In this case, the door handle must be stationary, that is, it must not control the slanting crossbar. When the door returns to its previous position, the latch bolt snaps into place, and the lock is further held in the locked state. Magnetic lock and electromagnetic lock are locking devices based on magnetic interaction.
An electromechanical lock is a kind of electric lock based on mechanical action on the locking mechanism. Mechanical action is created by a solenoid or a small electric motor.
